Competent Technologies was formed in 1994 by a group of enthusiastic technical personnel who had vast experience in installing, maintaining & servicing of various brands & models of telephone systems. The focus then was to offer outsource technical services to suppliers and end-users for the following services:

· Voice and Data Cabling.
· Installation and Removal of Telephone Systems.
· Maintenance of Telephone Systems.

In 2000, the company was renamed as Competent Communications to reflect our business focus. Besides maintaining the existing business, a Sales Division was added when more and more existing and new customers are requesting us to propose solutions for their existing or new offices. To date, Competent Communications had provided through direct sales to many SMEs, various brands of Telephone Systems, Voice and Structured Cabling Solutions, Door Access Systems, Security Systems, etc. Furthermore, through our prompt and efficient services provided, some customers preferred to enter into direct Maintenance.
